I Just Can't Stop Loving You

.
Please read this lyric while listening to the song.
You will have a different experience.

Each Time The Wind Blows
I Hear Your (3K) Voice So
I Call Your (3K) Name . . .
Whispers At Morning
Our (U & 3K) Love Is Dawning
Heaven's Glad You (3K) Came . . .

You (3K) Know How I Feel
This Thing Can't Go Wrong
I'm So Proud To Say I Love You (3K)
Your (3K) Love's Got Me High
I Long To Get By
This Time Is Forever
Love Is The Answer

I Hear Your (3K) Voice Now
You (3K) Are My Choice Now
The Love You (3K) Bring
Heaven's In My Heart
At Your (3K) Call I Hear Harps,
And Angels Sing

You (3K) Know How I Feel
This Thing Can't Go Wrong
I Can't Live My Life Without You (3K)
I Just Can't Hold On
I Feel We (U & 3K) Belong
My Life Ain't Worth Living
If I Can't Be With You (3K)

I Just Can't Stop Loving You (3K)
I Just Can't Stop Loving You (3K)
And If I Stop . . .
Then Tell Me Just What Will I Do
I Just Can't Stop Loving You (3K)

At Night
When The Stars Shine

I Pray In You (3K)
I
'll Find A Love So True . . .
When Morning Awakes Me

Will You (3K) Come And Take Me

I'll Wait For You (3K)

You (3K) Know How I Feel
I Won't Stop Until
I Hear Your (3K) Voice Saying
"I (3K) Do"
"I (3K) Do"
This Thing Can't Go Wrong
This Feeling's So Strong
Well, My Life Ain't Worth Living
If I Can't Be With You (3K)

I Just Can't Stop Loving You (3K)
I Just Can't Stop Loving You (3K)
And If I Stop . . .
Then Tell Me, Just What Will I Do
I Just Can't Stop Loving You (3K)

We (U & 3K) Can Change All The World Tomorrow
We (U & 3K) Can Sing Songs Of Yesterday
I Can Say, Hey . . .
Farewell To Sorrow
This Is My Life And I,
Want To See You (3K) For Always
I Just Can't Stop Loving You (3K)
No, Baby Oh!

I Just Can't Stop Loving You (3K)
If I Can't Stop!
And If I Stop
No … Oh!
What Will I Do? Uh . . .Ooh . . .
(Then Tell Me, Just What Will I Do)
I Just Can't Stop Loving You (3K)
Hee! Hee! Hee! Know I Do Girl!

I Just Can't Stop Loving You (3K)
You Know I Do And If I Stop . . .
Then Tell Me, Just What Will I Do
I Just Can't Stop Loving You (3K)

Thanks and Gratitute

.
Every day should be a good day and you should live it like it's your last. Some people live a life of anger, frustration, pain, jealousy, and/or dishonesty, but all of these things will come to pass when your time here is over. Just take a moment to think, we will not be on this earth forever. One day, we will not have to worry about going to work or how we will make our car payment.

We will not have to worry where our next meal will come from, or how we can buy that beautiful house. At anytime, God could take us off of this earth, so you should appreciate today and not worry about tomorrow, for nobody knows what tomorrow will bring. When you wake up each morning, thank God for waking you up.

When you lie down to sleep at night, thank God for another day. If you have a job, thank God for your place of employment. Ask that He May bless you in everything that you do. Ask Him to give you the knowledge and the wisdom to do your job. If you don't have a job, thank God anyway. Ask Him to direct you to the job that is right for you.

When you are eating breakfast, lunch or dinner, say a prayer. Thank God for providing food and nourishment to your body. If you are healthy, thank God for the health and strength in your body. If you aren't, thank God anyway for life, and ask Him to heal your body. So the next time that you get mad, think twice.

The next time you complain about something at your job, think twice. The next time you say you wish you had nasi lemak instead of porridge, think twice. Be thankful for what you have, and the life that God has given you. Pray and ask God for guidance. Be sincere, as God knows whether or not we mean it from the heart. Help those in need as a gift from your heart, and not so you can get a pat on the back.

Put forth the extra effort in everything that you do. Go after what you want in life, and do whatever it takes to achieve your goals. No matter how perfect you think you are, there are always room for improvement, and an opportunity for you to do better. If you are depressed, don't cry just hold your head up and God will help you through.

Pray and ask God to deliver you from your state of depression. Whatever it is that you are depressed about, God will take that pain from your heart. It may not be at that moment, or that next hour, or maybe not even the next day, but He WILL do it if you just believe in Him.

God will not give us more than we can bear. Sometimes He will present us with issues that will test our faith, but you have to be strong enough to believe that God will do exactly what He says. The message for today is to praise God, have faith in God, give thanks to God, and live every day like it is your last.

As I preparing this article, I can’t help but to listen to my favorite song … ‘I Just Can’t Stop Loving You’ by MJ. God bless you, Michael. I would insert this song in one of PPB3K’s modules ...

Test of Three

.
In ancient Greece (469 - 399 BC), Socrates was widely lauded for his wisdom. One day the great philosopher came upon an acquaintance, who ran up to him excitedly and said, "Socrates, do you know what I just heard about one of your students...?"

"Wait a moment," Socrates replied. "Before you tell me, I'd like you to pass a little test. It's called the 'Test of Three'."
.
"'Test of Three'?""That's correct," Socrates continued. "Before you talk to me about my student let's take a moment to test what you're going to say. The first test is Truth. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?"

"No," the man replied, "actually I just heard about it."
.
"All right," said Socrates. "So you don't really know if it's true or not. Now let's try the second test, the test of Goodness. Is what you are about to tell me about my student something good?"

"No, on the contrary..."

So," Socrates continued, "you want to tell me something bad about him even though you're not certain it's true?"

The man shrugged, a little embarrassed.

Socrates continued, "You may still pass though because there is a third test - the filter of Usefulness. Is what you want to tell me about my student going to be useful to me?"

"No, not really.." "Well," concluded Socrates, "if what you want to tell me is neither true nor good nor even useful, why tell it to me at all?"

The man was defeated and ashamed and said no more. This is the reason Socrates was a great philosopher and held in such high esteem.

To Ponder: PPB3K has passed the ‘test of three’ with flying colors!!!

Mid Year Review

.
Pejam celik pejam celik, dah setengah tahun rupanya tahun 2009 ini. Cepat betul masa berlalu.

.

Untuk mengecap kejayaan tersebut, aku mesti hubungkan idea aku ini kepada kejayaan dengan langkah-langkah berikut;

Lakarkan lurah pasaran idea aku
Usahakan pasaran yakin pada idea aku
Usahakan pasaran beli idea aku

Bunyi senang tapi penuh dengan ranjau!
.

Naik biul kepala aku dibuatnya! Itulah cerita aku ketika ini...
.

Namun, bila aku renung kembali dan cuba analisa di mana silapnya aku, aku mulai senyum sendirian. Sebenarnya apa yang aku lakukan so far memang dah OK hanya aku tak sabar. Aku kena banyak sabar. Aku mesti terus ’beri’ sebelum aku ’terima’ satu masa nanti. (Hukum Memberi dan Menerima).
.

Jika aku lihat usaha-usahaku setakat ini, memang not bad at all. PPB3K semakin lama semakin mantap.

Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,

And sweetest in the gale (wind) is heard;
And sore (distrust) must be the storm
That could abash the little bird (hope)
That kept so many warm.

I’ve heard it in the chilliest land
And on the strangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
It (Hope) asked a crumb of me.
.

O God! Guide Me ...

Finding Positive Out Of Every Negative

.
This is nice ... which we don't always manage to do.
.
I am thankful...

1. For the husband who snores all night, because he is at home asleep with me and not with someone else.
.
2. For my teenage daughter who is complaining about doing dishes, because that means she is at home & not on the streets.

3. For the taxes that I pay because it means that I am employed.
.
4. For the mess to clean after a party because it means that I have been surrounded by friends.

5. For the clothes that fit a little too snug because it means I have enough to eat.
.
6. For my shadow that watches me work because it means I am out in the sunshine.

7. For a floor that needs mopping, and windows that need cleaning because it means I have a home.
.
8. For all the complaining I hear about the government because it means that we have freedom of speech.

9. For the parking spot I find at the far end of the parking lot because it means I am capable of walking and that I have been blessed with transportation.
.
10. For the noise I have to bear from my neighbours because it means that I can hear.

11. For the pile of laundry and ironing because it means I have clothes to wear.
.
12. For weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day because it means I have been capable of working hard.

13. For the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours because it means that I am still alive.

Implementing/Tracking Organization Strategy

.
Many organizations have the competency and ability to develop their own strategy. Nonetheless, many organizations question their ability to implement/track their own organizational strategy. Is there a simple and practical way to implement/track this strategy?

Before we delve further, we need to understand what really matter in organization strategy. There are many frameworks in the market to assist in organization strategy. For the purpose of this article, we will focus on an improvised concept of Malcolm Baldridge framework. (Please refer to Diagram 1)

Diagram 1 : An Improvised Malcolm Baldridge Framework

With reference to Diagram 1, it is very clear that all criteria in the box (Criteria 1 to 9) are important elements that we need to focus on to ensure organization stability. Focusing on these criteria will ensure that we have a balanced outlook of any organization. In other words, all issues or initiatives that are important to an organization can be related to either one of the criterion.

To identify any initiatives worth pursuing by the organization, a SWOT analysis need to be carried out for each criterion.

To implement/track these criterions, obviously we need a tool that is easy to understand and practical enough to be communicated through out the organization. For that, what is more meaningful to use other than Strategy Map and Balanced Scorecard. A sample of a Strategy Map is in Diagram 2.

Diagram 2 : Strategy Map

The four perspectives in this Strategy Map namely Customer, Financial, Internal Process and Learning & Growth are the most commonly used perspectives for any commercial organization.

The strategic objectives or ‘bubbles’ in this Strategy Map are basically the criterion in the improvised Malcolm Baldridge framework plus two additional ‘bubbles’ which is related to Financial and Communication. Consideration on all these ‘bubbles’ will ensure a balanced view of the organization.

In turn, each ‘bubble’ in this Strategy Map needs to be acted upon. For that, each ‘bubble’ has been expanded into a table called Balanced Scorecard (BSC). A typical BSC is in Diagram 3. .

Diagram 3 : Sample of Balanced Scorecard (BSC)

BSC consists of four main elements namely Strategic Objectives, Measures, Targets and Initiatives. This is the logical steps to ensure each ‘bubble’ being taking care of. All initiatives within this BSC need to be distributed among all level of staff. This should be the basis of setting of each staff’s Key Performance Indicator (KPI). Thus, this will ensure the proper support at every level of the staff towards the strategy formulated.

The staff needs to be competent to carry out their KPI. To be competent is the question of getting a proper training. Training needs which is not aligned to competency enhancement to deliver KPIs are simply wasting of time, money and energy.

In summary, implementing/tracking of organization strategy can be classified into these three distinct levels;

Level 1 : Strategy Implementing/Tracking – Strategy Map & BSC
Level 2 : Performance Implementing/Tracking – KPIs
Level 3 : Competency Implementing/Tracking – Training

Any organizations which focus on these three levels of implementing/tracking are on track to achieve organizational excellence. To gain understanding and commitment on these implementing/tracking mechanisms, it is proposed the organization conducts a basic program to introduce the relevant staff to the followings;

- What is improvised Malcolm Baldridge framework (IMBF)?
- What is SWOT?
- What is Strategy Map?
- What is Balanced Scorecard (BSC)?
- How to merge the idea of IMBF and Strategy Map & BSC ?
- How to link BSC to KPIs and Competencies?
- How to do tracking based on the above tools.?

To promote participation and involvement of all staff in order to drive the strategy formulated, it is very important for all staff to be introduced to three main basic awareness ie;

Self Awareness - Ability to achieve personal goals at work which is aligned to Organization Goals.

Team Awareness - Ability to work in a team.

Leadership Awareness - Ability to lead a team

Many organizations may think that all these awareness programs have been conducted in the past but in many cases these programs are not synergized. ‘Program Produktiviti Bersepadu 3K’ (PPB3K) is a program that consists of 6 modules to tackle these issues. It is easy, practical, no-nonsense and ‘street-wise’ program. Synopsis of PPB3K is in diagram 4.

Harapan

.

Not a bad idea at all.

.

Tak lama kemudian, bila aku mula rasa segar sedikit, aku mula berjalan-jalan di sekitar ’Antara Dahan’ ini. ‘Antara Dahan’ ini agak luas. Kira-kira 3 ekar.

”PPB3K is all about giving hope (harapan) to people and people have a great thirst for hope! (harapan)”.

Jam dah hampir 12 tenghari.
